    "Classic" oil.

    There may well be much cheaper 20W50 oils out there but why take a chance with those, buy cheap, buy twice. Comma are a reputable and well established company and the oil is U.K. manufactured. Using as an alternative to another well known classic oil in my 1962 Morris Minor's 1098cc engine and gearbox. Yes, it is the correct oil for the gearbox too! As luck would have it the 5 litres is exactly the right volume for both the engine and gearbox with a drop left over.

    It's great oil, and this was a replaceme...

    It's great oil, and this was a replacement tin. But I found they have changed the nozzle. Instead of an easy to use screw top to access the oil and pour through a fixed spout, they have introduced a plastic plug you have to pull out each time then compress it back in. So not only is it fiddly, but it could break and is less secure when pushed in. Why did they have to fix something that was not broken? And use plastic! Get back to the old design guys.

    Perfect for my classic VW

    Use this as a more modern equivalent to the lawn mower SAE30 that was recommended for my VW T2 back in 1969. After weeks of research and reading books from modern day dating back to the late 60s I decided to use Comma 20w50 classic. If you have a classic VW with an aircooled engine you need pure mineral oil rather than semi or full synthetic. This does the job and works great. Just be advised that the colour of this oil is a dark green rather than your standard golden colour. Perfect.

    Quality Oil for Classic Cars

    Used this oil for the last two Monte-Carlo Classique Rallyes 2017 & 2018, in our 1960 Rover P4 100. 4,120 miles through 7 European countries in horrendous, snow, rain & fog & 9 mountain climbs - car only used 4 pints. Classic green & recommended by my own local garage - used it for 4-years - very competitive price especially if you buy 2 or more cans.
