The “buyer” is the eBay username who places a winning bid OR agrees to “buy it now” an item in a valid eBay listing
The “Vendor” is the trading body “SICS Trading” which supplies the goods in which the buyer has placed a successful order through www.ebay.co.uk
When a purchase is made, the “buyer” automatically binds into a legally binding contract with the vendor “SICS Trading” to purchase the goods at the price at which the buyer agreed to, before clicking the “bid” or “buy it now” buttons on the eBay UK website
SICS Trading has the right to cancel any orders if there any errors present in the listing in which the buyer has purchased the item before SICS Trading had addressed the error.
SICS Trading has to right to refuse the dispatch of any goods if there is reason to believe that the “buyer” or the payment may be an act of fraud
List prices are correct at point of purchasing and may fluctuate at any time
In the circumstances of a price reducing/going on sale after a purchase is made, the difference is non-refundable unless the original purchase is returned and then repurchased under the new price.
Quoted "Recommended Retail Prices" (RRP) are correct at the original point/revised addition point of listing. Buyers are to assume the "RRP" as an estimate and use as a guide to purchasing.
Stated price comparisons from other retailers are correct at the original point/revised addition point of listing. If particular price comparisons have discontinued from a particular retailer then the price comparison may still show on the listing as a guide to assist buyers with making their purchase decision

Non-UK buyers should expect to receive items of a UK specification unless otherwise stated.
If the buyer has mistakenly makes a purchase, the buyer must contact SICS Trading through eBay explaining that they wish to cancel their order. If the order has already been paid, SICS Trading cannot guarantee that the order can be cancelled if the order has been already dispatched or marked as dispatched on eBay.
Once goods have been dispatched, SICS Trading accepts and confirms to supply the purchased goods at the agreed price. Any order processes prior to dispatch may be cancelled in rare instances due to technical and stock errors.
SICS Trading posts items via RoyalMail on Monday’s Wednesdays and Friday’s. (the cut off point for each date is at 10am on that specific day). If the buyer has made an order, selected and paid for an express delivery/24 hour courier delivery service then SICS Trading will do our best to get the order dispatched on the same or next working day (this applies to 90% of all express delivery/24 hour courier delivery service orders). If the buyer requires confirmation or assurance of the placed order of when it is being dispatched then please contact the SICS Trading office on 02476 633 426.
The collection of any goods can be arranged by appointment. Collection appointments can be made by any means of contact through our contact details.. Please note: Collections are cash only and SICS Trading do not carry any change on their site.
The buyer is responsible in making sure that a correct delivery address is provided and has paid the correct amount for the order to be shipped to the corresponding delivery address.
SICS Trading always offer at least one standard and at least one express delivery service for any order going to the UK
SICS Trading always offer at least one postal service which includes a tracking facility, if the buyer pays and select a standard non tracking delivery service then unfortunately SICS Trading cannot provide a tracking number for the parcel (only applies to the UK). Express Courier delivery and RoyalMail “recorded” postage services include tracking
Please note: surcharges may apply to express courier delivery charges to postcodes which are not in the UK Mainland or are in remote areas of the UK Mainland. If in doubt please make contact before going through the checkout as SICS Trading have to cancel the order if the postage amount paid does not cover the postage cost.
SICS Trading may place orders on hold if they believe that the payment may be unauthorised or fraudulent
For international buyers, SICS Trading sends the majority of orders via RoyalMail International Airmail which has a high success rate - This service normally takes up to 10 working days for most of Western Europe but this service can take up to 30 working days for arrival
Sometimes RoyalMail can "delay" domestic UK parcels for up to 15 working days (as stated in their terms and conditions) although the majority of parcels arrive within 1-2 working days. An additional 5 days of clearance time is required for any parcels to be returned to the sender (if applicable to the situation). So as the buyer you agree to wait up to 20 working days in instances where you may have not received your item within the typical 1-2 working day timeframe. Unfortunately SICS Trading cannot do anything to influence or speed up this delay or clearance process.
If at any instance parcels are returned to SICS Trading due of the following reasons, SICS Trading will contact the buyer for a payment to be made in order to reship the item. This payment will be equivalent to the original postage amount paid.
“not called for” – The delivery service has attempted to deliver, due to no persons being present at the address, a card is left behind explaining the non-delivery along with the request to collect the parcel from the delivery company’s local holding depot. Holding time for RoyalMail is 15 working days and the holding time for express courier delivery companies is 5 working days. If the parcel remains uncollected and the recipient is unresponsive the parcel is then returned to the sender.
“Incorrect address” – The address provided by the buyer was not valid
“Addressee gone away” - There are not recipients present at the delivery address to take delivery within the delivery timeframe period.
Evidence of the returned parcel along with the reason for return by the delivery company can be provided if requested. Failure to pay the reshipping fee will result in the buyer’s original payment to be refunded minus the original postage price paid. Please note: correspondence must be concluded for a returned parcel within 14 days of initial contact message (of the parcel been returned to the sender) as we will hold the returned parcel for a maximum of 14 days. Failure to respond/communicate will result surcharges of 10% off the original item value per 7 additional days.
The buyer must contact SICS Trading for authorisation to return any item before any items are returned to SICS Trading
If an item is damaged on arrival, the buyer has to report the damage to SICS Trading via eBay within 3 days of receipt.
It is the buyer's responsibility in making sure that that the returned item is adequately packaged for safe transit and reaches SICS Trading. The buyer has 14 days from receipt to return the item due to a fault for a refund or replacement of their choice
A 3 month repair or replacement guarantee is given for all items - if a failure develops after 14 days of receipt of the item then technical support and advice will be given to the buyer in order to resolve any issues with the item. If the item cannot be fixed and is deemed faulty by technical support then the buyer can return the item for a repair/replacement, if SICS Trading cannot repair/replace the item then a refund of the purchase price will be issued to the buyer. Unless otherwise stated in the item description, all items have a 3 month warranty/guarantee only.
The Buyer has a 7 day "cooling off" period in which the buyer can return the purchased item for a refund of the original transaction amount (the buyer is responsible for the postage costs incurred in returning the item)
Providing the following terms are met:
- The item has not been damaged in any way
- The item is still in "as new" condition and in a suitable condition for resale
- The item is returned with its ORIGINAL packaging and documentation which came with the item.
- The item is received by us within 7 days of your reciept
Failure to comply with any of the terms above will result in the original postage amount not to be refunded and additional surcharges to be applied to the refund ranging from 10% to a maximum of 100% depending on the severity of the breached terms and the affect on the resale value of the returned item
Please note: The 7 day cooling off period does not apply for Consumables, Software, Visual material, virtual products, non-compatible electrical spares and hygiene sensitive products. (This applies to all dental, hair removal, bulbs, electrical parts, magazines, serial numbers, manuals, batteries, downloadable, clinical and pharmaceutical items. In addition the 3 month guarantee is only applicable is certain cases. Each case in these product areas will be dealt with individually with reason and in accordance to UK consumer law. Please contact us if you require further information in regards to a specific return policy about that specific product
If the buyer has bought an item under the presumption that the item would be compatible for their intended use/purpose and then comes to realise that it is the wrong item and is incompatible, then the order is not valid for a return as it is the buyer’s responsibility to verify compatibility. Please note the “7 Cooling off period” is void for incompatibility issues as an addition. It is the buyer’s responsibility to understand and verify what they are buying before purchasing.
If the buyer has misread/misinterpreted of an item description (due to item description not being clear and clarity) to which the buyer wishes to return the item, the buyer will need to report the matter to SICS Trading within 7 days of receiving the item. Any reports and return requests due misread/misinterpretation after 7 working days will not be accepted.
No returns will be accepted whatsoever by SICS Trading to items which have been damaged by the buyer
Returns are subject to a processing time of 3-10 working days for the item to be inspected, assessed against the reason for return and concluded by SICS Trading.
If a refund is not granted due to the following reasons:
- Item was found not to be faulty
- Item was damaged by the user
A surcharge payment (equivalent to the original postage amount paid) will be required in order for the item(s) to be dispatched out back to the buyer and no refund will be made
If an item is damaged on arrival or is malfunctioning due to a physical fault, SICS Trading will ask the buyer to provide us with evidence of the damage. This can be achieved in most cases by taking a digital image and emailing the image as an attachment to SICS Trading
If the buyer has any reason to believe the item supplied by SICS Trading is not genuine and is counterfeit, the buyer can return the item for the guarantee amount stated in the listing description providing that the buyer returns the item unused and presents reasonable valid evidence from the manufacturer confirming the counterfeit status of the item.
SICS Trading accepts the following payment methods:
- PayPal
- Postal Orders
- Bank Transfer/deposit
Please note: ALL non UK buyers MUST pay through PayPal, failure to pay will result in your order being cancelled
Please note: SICS Trading does NOT accept cheques, any cheque payments which we receive will be disposed of and we will request the buyer to make a payment through one of our accepted payment methods.
If SICS Trading have reason to believe that a payment may be fraudulent, we will put your order on hold and investigate the payment with the relevant parties to confirm the validity of the payment
If the buyer is sending a postal order, contact must be made to SICS Trading for the address and procedure of making the payment via eBay messages. Postal orders are to be left remained uncrossed. Please note: It is the buyer's responsibility in making sure that the postal order is received by SICS Trading. Buyer’s are advised retain your postal receipt in case the payment gets lost in the post.
If the buyer wishes to pay via Bank Transfer/deposit, the buyer is to contact SICS Trading for the details and procedure of how to make the payment successfully. (only for UK buyers)
Buyers are to complete the eBay checkout with 4 working days of purchase. If for any reasons the buyer cannot pay within 4 working days of purchase, the buyer is to inform SICS Trading of the reason why the payment cannot be made or with a date of when the payment can be made.
The buyer must provide a valid telephone number along with a full address when going through the eBay checkout
