    Unusual but Very good effect.

    Saw it reviewed elsewhere n liked it, had it in my mind several months. As expected its not a standard guitar effect but more like a synth controlled by a guitar, performs best with single notes rather than chords. Captures the Miku Hatsune sound quite well. Just remember to fully disconnect it when not even use, even when off as the batteries will continue to drain if you use them. Uses 2xAA batteries & does come with a pair in the box.

    Miku review

    I bought this cause of the rob chapman review and wanted one ever since. I bought it and I realized how difficult it is for the note tracking and how bad it really is. You can get some hilarious sounds. I only recommend buying if you have some spare money and want something goofy to mess with, even then I recommend spending your money on something else more useful that you can actually use

    Cute idea, weak implementation

    The sounds coming out of it are as expected. The scat, random, and ah, probably all have their uses. My main complaint is it's rather poor tracking. It's as bad as very old guitar to midi tracking. You have to slow down your playing to its ability to follow you. It does produce nice results in front of an Earthquaker Devices Arpanoid. That's one way to get fast sounding vocals out of it. There are three slots on the pedal that are supposed to be able to be programmed to sing Japanese phrases. But, the Korg site does not give a US user access to the program to write the phrases. That's disappointing.

    So fun to play, you just have to hear it of yourself!

    This pedal is not for everyone but I suggest listening to some demos, If you like totally unique and different sounds, this pedal is it! If you ever wanted your guitar to sing in Japanese, well look no further. I fell in love with the MIKU STOMP the first time I heard it.

    The miku stomp pedal works perfectly and the last owner even put it in the original box for me. The packaging was done very well, there was absolutely no way it was going to be damaged in shipping so I highly appreciate the effort!
