My dad was in the RAF and we lived in Germany in the 1960s. The RAF organised a coach trip over the border to Holland and the Overloon War museum, site of intensive fighting during the war. This was less than 20 years after the war. The Dutch liked the British and RAF who had liberated them but not so much the Germans!
