    Excellent Performance at an Attractive Price

    These CPUs have a lot of appeal, especially to those who cant afford more modern V2 & V3 Xeons. The additional cores/threads available on the Sandy Bridge-EP give the CPUs a distinct advantage over the previous Westmere-EP in multi-threaded loads while maintaining parity with higher clocked Westmere-EP IPC.
