    Excellent halogen heater. A lot of warmth provided with 4 different settings and the oscillating action. It is not too big and sits in the front room quite well. If it is tipped over the heating element turns off straightaway. I am very pleased with it. Thank you.

    Good little standby for chilly mornings.

    Good item for throwing out the heat. The glow/light is a bit annoying, but the heat does make up for that. Only use it first thing in the morning to take the chill off the room. Its very lightweight and portable and the purchase price was good. Would recommend this heater, a good little standby.

    Portable Oscillating Halogen Heater

    There is a product advertised on TV which uses carbon bulb technology (whatever that is) to heat you and not the air around you. That product is bulky and certainly not portable. This heater on the other hand is portable and when set at the correct distance can warm both myself and my wife using the oscillating function. If there is a downside it shines a bright light in use which requires a different posture when watching TV. On the positive side it has an isolating switch underneath so it will turn off if it falls over and not set your carpet on fire.

    Hot Stuff

    The last heater burned out and I bought this as a replacement. Speedy service and good value with three different heat settings. The only problem is that there is no handle to enable you to carry it securely so may not be suitable if you are unsteady on your feet.
