Creamed with a bit of sugar, it reacted & liquified within seconds. See photos - no liquid was added for the second photo, it's all the yeast's own work. The dough was very quick to rise, lucky I checked before it positively exploded! The finished bread had a lovely light even crumb, see photos again. (Pullman loaf, flat top is deliberate) So much better than dried yeast.

Well worth it I would say for anyone who wants to get a bit more serious about bread making. 12-13g to 500g flour seems to be the right ratio and freezing (I divided it up into the aforementioned amounts and froze each portion in a separate bag) has not diminished it's potency at all. Highly recommended.

Just made a milk loaf have refrigerated some of the yeast for use next week and have frozen the rest in small packs. I recommend this seller and will definitely be ordering more when needed.
