    The only decent lever replacement for a American Standard Champion 4 toilet

    This is a factory replacement lever from American Standard. It is an easy 5 minute install. The lever itself looks to be made of nylon with the handle made of plastic. The lever is inserted into the handle and held in place by a metal connector, which will eventually break. Expect about 10 years of life for this, less if you are hard on it. The generic universal levers are of poorer quality so this is the better choice.

    OEM replacement.

    Original worked for about 8 years. The design should be beefed up. Plastic parts. I only recommend it because I know of no option.

    design is somewhat weak for the 4 inch trap.

    handle works fine but plastic weakens over the years should be made of metal but would cost more

    Trip Lever replacement

    Original trip leave when flushed caused the flapper to catch on overflow, this lever must be a design change because angle of lever was slightly different it corrected the problem.
