Wish I'd got one of these years ago....
Saves your back having the long handle, good for digging drains as you can reach down without getting in the trench. Less effort than a short shovel, great for digging MOT type 1 aggregate out of 1 ton bags. Been brilliant for digging out a soakaway from ground level without getting into the hole. Recommended.

Long arm shovel, just the job for use with a mixer, could be slightly more curved. Not used it for digging yet as we have heavy clay.

Cornish Shovel.
Truly excellent. Don't know why it is described as Swan Necked. It's what I have always known as a Cornish shovel. A most versatile tool and one which I hated being without after my last one was stolen. First rate.

Brilliant for what I needed
This shovel is great. Not too heavy, good price and saves my back from aching from bending down with normal shovel. It glides along the ground making horse poo easy to collect. It is fairly light though sturdy.
