    Nifty little gizmo

    This is one of the best little sewing gadgets I've ever bought: it makes sewing over several layers a doddle - even my husband is impressed (because he no longer hears me swearing at the sewing machine!). If you're still unsure, I recommend watching a YouTube video on how to use it

    Great Little Gadget that makes sewing bulky areas easy sewing

    When I looked at what I'd ordered I thought I'd wasted my money; then I tried it and straight away it did exactly what I needed it to do: It sewed over my padded and piped edging on the item I was sewing with no trouble and without missing a stitch!

    Brilliant

    Altering hems on jeans was always a nightmare, not any more. Trying to go over the seams has caused me broken needles and such frustration. This clever little extra foot sailed over the seams like a dream. How I wish I’d had one of these years ago!

    Simple but indispensable.

    It's a simple device but it really does the job. Makes sewing over those thicker bits, such as a jeans hem, so much easier. No more tantrums from my sewing machine...

    Good idea, but didn't work out for me.

    I ordered this item because I wanted to shorten some jeans and in the past I broke needles going over bulky seams. Unfortunately I couldn't get the device to work, so had to manage without it. It might be me, but despite the instructions I could not see how to get it to do what was promised.
