    Typical great Sony performance.

    I own 2 of this model. One for audio archiving and playback and the other as a home theater component. Superb quality in both applications. Transfer from VCR to DVD for those with a large VCR library is really unnecessary if one owns a player such as this to get the most out of VCR media.
