    Function over form; useful but ugly.

    This garlic crusher isn't going to win any beauty awards but it does have a solid feel and is functional. Minimal in design with a shiny finish and easy to clean. HOWEVER it is NOT dishwasher safe and will loose its lustre this way; see attached photo:

    Chinese bad quality copy

    It works - but it is made with cheap materials in China and is nowhere as good quality as my old one from Chef Aid -

    Not ideal as an olive stoner

    As I already had a garlic press this was purchased purely for the olive stoning facility which it is not great at as the jaws do not oppose in the right plane but it is good as a garlic press
