Exceptional quality and value - highly recommended
A Gimbal head - any gimbal head - is a revelation when you first use it. Makes using a long lens easier and much, much steadier - as well as taking all the weight away. But this Bemro head is exceptional. Excellent build quality and really easy to use and fit. All lenses/cameras need to be balanced on the head, so watch one of the videos on You Tube on how to do that - makes a big difference - that's where the benefit of a gimbal head lies. Very highly recommended - less than half the price of the 'top of the range' Wimberley and of seemingly equal quality.A Gimbal head - any gimbal head - is a revelation when you first use it. Good value, nice quality gimbal head
Surprisingly good quality and precisely machined. Good to use and easy to get in perfect balance. Its a bit heavy but will manage a high load and carbon fibre options are available at higher cost.

Good qualtiy
Originally looking to buy a ‘Wiberley’ but couldn’t justify the additional cost over the Benro which was nearly half the price. However, any concerns were soon allayed and the Benro has proved to be excellent. One small comment is that I initially found it difficult to get the foot plate tight enough on the lens; but this was resolved by two small strips of sticky backed cork.
