    A title worthy of it's deep description

    A great read for those who want to know about our world, universe and laws of science. Hawking tries his best to discuss complicated topics in simpler layman's terms and as a result you learn a ton!! A must read for those who contemplate our past, present and future in a world where science has ruled. As an aside, Hawking does contemplate a higher being as well......a great book.

    Big Brains Required

    I’ve waited to read ‘A Brief History of Time’, and I finally conjured up the courage to take a shot. Needless to say, Professor Hawking had a pretty big brain, and I’m sure he used it to put this incredible work to paper. For the layman (or woman) with a regular-sized brain, comprehending it is doable. For the ‘not-quite-average” or slightly below average brain, not so much. It’ll be tricky, but it can be done, in spite of any trepidations one might have. DO IT ANYWAY! The mental exercise will certainly improve your thinking.

    A new view on everything

    A very good read. Opens up the universe to ordinary people who must become awe struck as they read. If they understand the material that is.The fact you are reading the words of a man who has been trapped in his lifeless body for decades makes this work even more awe inspiring! What an monumental effort of work for anyone. To enclose the universe in a paperback. The mind that provides the descriptions and theories in this book is something to behold. Very well done Mr. H. Very nice indeed.

    I'm so clueless

    Even when Steven Hawkins try's to "dumb down" this subject I find myself having to reread certain concepts just to grasp them. I'm amazed that a man of this intelligence bothered to explain it so simply so the rest of us could have an inkling of the inner workings of a genius like Mr Hawkins.
