top notch flour
I use this flour to make my standard seedy bread 2 or 3 times a week. It is used in conjunction with Doves Farm wholemeal wheat flour and Heygate's Green strong bread flour. There are also seeds of pumpkin, sunflowers, sesame, chia, and flax, and oats. The rye flour increases the fibre of the loaf and adds a nutty flavour. I buy 5 one kilo bags at a time and the flour seems to keep well in my pest proof plastic flour bin. The bread is delicious with sweet or savoury toppings; and also makes great toast. Great flour, but a little pricey.
A little of this in every loaf , maybe 5%, does great things for texture and flavour. I would like to have had an option other than 'Yes' or 'No' for good value, because for me it's borderline. Excellent quality. Good for my bread and family. But, as the title says...
