    projector

    It's powerful, smart and ideal for the use for which I bought it- ie teaching English- as it has quite a short "throw" beam. For this reason it can be sited just 5 feet from the board, suspended from the ceiling.

    EMP-X3

    If you are looking for a projector to use outside then this is the one for you. Using it with a Resersa Eclipse Projection screen for watching sport in teh Garden through the day the fan noise may be a little bitt too loud for indoor small room. Nice bright stable image - lamps look expensive but can be sourced on ebay for abot 50 - 70 GBP so get a spare.

    Great

    Bought 2nd hand for a song, I could not be more pleased with this projector. Since it’s not high-def, my expectations were rather low. However, with a native resolution of 1024x768, not unlike small laptops, the image is clear and sharp, and the colours rich and accurate. You should note that the image quality will depend on what you have plugged into it, and how. From a DVD player over S-Video, I would expect a fuzzier image, since much of the X3's resolution will go unused. If possible, use the VGA port, or the Component inputs from a decent DVD player. Ease of use is pretty good. You can get a long way without touching any of the menus – just plug in, and twiddle the simple lens sliders for zoom and focus. Overall this fella has revolutionised my movie viewing experience! ...

    Great value for money for a good quality projector

    I was looking for a low priced projector for occasional use as a tutor. It was a minefield trying to decide, and whether i should buy a cheap new projector. I am very happy with my eventual choice - it is clearly a good quality projector and I am sure would have cost a lot new. It worked as soon as i connected it to my laptop and is silent in operation. I think for my circumstances it was a much better option than buying a brand new but inferior quality projector It is also light to carry and happily fitted into an old lap top carry case. I feel confident that if I have any problems in the future the sellers will be able to help me.
