The dial gives 0-20A but the meter is high impedance moving coil with no shunt and tabs which do not support more than a few tens of milliamps. Not the sellers fault bu clearly not a device for measuring DC up to 20 Amps. Still awaiting reply from seller to re-label his/her stock! I decided to dismantle the meter to show that it is not constructed for 20A. Probably an honest error
