      Handheld mixer with stand

      I searched for a mixer that had the flexibility of being handheld or clipped onto a stand. This mixer ticks these boxes. The only comment I would say is that it is not very robust and quiet a light weight but you do get what you pay for. I do not regret purchasing this mixer and it will certainly "do" the job. If I was a serious cook I would have sourced a more industrial mixer.

      Not impressed

      The mixer might be O.K. for small amounts of cake mixture, but not for anything over a 3egg victoria sponge as the mixture clogs up the whisks, plus the mixture at the bottom of the bowls does not get mixed. I hope that it performs better on butter icing, I have not tried that yet. I might have been better paying more for a larger mixer.

      Kenwood chefette

      I bought this to replace my old kenwood chefette which was bought in the early eighties. Always found kenwood to be very reliable. This new chefette is very light and compact and takes up little room in my cupboard. Very pleased with this super little machine.

      Great quality machine!

      Perfect for making pizza dough and cake mixtures. Personally I think it does just as good a job as the bigger, more expensive mixers.
