Most sterling silver is made by combining pure silver with other metals, such as copper or nickel, to increase its durability and strength. This reaction causes the sterling silver to undergo oxidation and develop a tarnished appearance.

The advertisement of the necklace being 925 is incorrect, its very poor quality and tarnished quickly, I have 925 jewellery for years and it never tarnished or got rusty. Save your money and buy elsewhere

The earrings are NOT silver, there is NO 925 mark. They have been tested and are copper based underneath a silver coating.
The seller did not apologise, but sent me a photo of a similar pair that did have a 925 stamp. so he has at least one pair marked 925.
I sent the seller a photo of the pair I received that clearly shows no 925 stamp.
I cannot return them due to major surgery.
