    Good deal.

    I like war movies to begin with and this has the level of action that I like and is still realistic. The second disc has the bonus material and that's okay, but I wouldn't miss it if it wasn't included.

    As I remembered...

    I saw this movie when it was released in the theaters in 1965. It left an impression on me as a 10 year old boy and I had wanted the see it again. Now that I have the DVD and have watched the film again I'm glad I purchased it. It is still a good story.

    Great movie well worth the money!

    Fantastic WW2 Movie about allied POW'S, Doesn't portray the Regular Germans as evil monsters which is nice for a change. Interesting note, I'd read somewhere that the brown leather jacket worn by Col "Von" Ryan is/was the very same one worn by Col. Hogan in the TV show "Hogan's Heroes"
