  • Dan Brown's Da Vinci Code

I enjoyed this book. Mind you Dan Brown is not a good author, nor is he very creative. Dan Brown actually borrowed an awful lot of information from another source which he did not site or give any credit (because the book is fictional). If you were to read any of Dan Brown's other books (digital fortress, angels and demons, etc.) you will find the exact same type of story with all the same foreshadowing and you will be able to figure out what happens at page 75. If you did not read his other books and are just in for a good story than THIS IS A GREAT NOVEL. I rate it good because I genuinely enjoy the story and the characters. Unfortunately there are people that think that there are hidden facts about christianity and the bible within the pages of this fictional story. While there are ...

  • The Da Vinci Code by Dan Brown

While The Da Vinci Code is a work of fiction. And yes the book does contain errors of such that religious scholars are raking it over the coals. I have no problem seeing this as fiction, maybe others do, even so, I have an open mind. I have watched the Ten Commandments probably a dozen times or more. The only thing I haven’t been able to figure out is how that Albino monk is badly beaten in the Marseilles harbor and later finds shelter in Andorra. Andorra is a small country perched on top of the Pyrenean Mountain range, hundreds of miles from any harbor, he said later that the beating happened in Marseilles. It’s as if I had runaway from Key West, Fla. and arrived in Mexico City a few hours later without a boat. Fact is Dan Brown has done extensive searching. There are plenty of people ...

  • This Book was an interesting read!

The Da Vinci Code by Dan Brown, was a great Read. I guess, I found it so intriguing because I love puzzles. I loved how solving one puzzle led to another. I read through it quick and was disapointed when it was over. I enjoyed the information that he included, like the divine order. If people see this BOOk as a threat, I would say they are very simple minded. If a person has a strong belief in their faith, this book would never give enough power to persuade them otherwise. Its just a Novel, a good read. It doesnt replace the BIBLE in any way. This book is no different from any other book. Also the subject is of one thats been around for years, its nothing new! I liked the book and I recomend it to anyone that likes mystery stories.

  • Enjoyable Story

I avoided reading the Da Vinci Code for a long time because of all the hype surrounding it.I finally gave in however and borrowed a copy from some one. I considered the book to be an action mystery story and I wasn't dissapointed. I found the story entertaining and interesting. While it wasn't the most exciting story I have ever read I would still recomend it to anyone who enjoys a good mystery. I have since bought and read other books by Dan Brown and have enjoyed all of them. I enjoy reading fictional mystery stories and this was a good one. If I was looking for history I would have purchased a textbook instead. I'm sure the authors intent was to make money and all of the controversy that people continue to make up about this story only adds to his bottom line. Good for ...

  • The Da Vinci Code Book Review Must Read

While studying art history at the University of Seville in Spain, Dan Brown learned of the mysteries hidden in Da Vinci’s paintings. Years later while researching at the Vatican Secret Archives, Brown was once again captivated by the Da Vinci enigma. He arranged a trip to the Louvre Museum to view Da Vinci’s original paintings. With the help of an art historian to understand the paintings, he researched further and wrote the novel ‘The Da Vinci Code’ which became an other one of his best sellers but with more success this time. Dan Brown is one of the most popular suspense writer of our age. His books are full of suspense and The Da Vinci Code is no exception. His books are one of the most popular ones and anyone who talks about Brown knows that he is talking about a suspense writer, a ...
