Dipetane in a diesel. Too early to tell whether or not it's snake oil, but the internet is full of good reviews for diesel cars/vans and diesel oil/kerosene home boilers. The formula isn't publicly available, but as it's a hydrocarbon and they say it's for petrol and diesel/kerosene, I'd say it sits between them from crude oil - eg paraffin or naphtha (naphtha is in Redex diesel system cleaner). Dipetane is cheaper than Redex by ml. I'd recommend mixing it with 2-ehn for a diesel engine.

This is a fantastic product, having a Merc diesel that’s over 10 yrs old and has done a lot of town driving, it’s DPF had got really clogged up, but after using DIPETANE for a period she is clean as a whistle and has proved to be much more economical. I’d highly recommend this product.

one good thing i like is that it converts moisture to fuel.
Been having fuel problems with the diesel fuel aboard the boat , so decided to add this fuel treatment , and it has greatly improved engine efficiency , one thing i have noticed is that the idle has got greater , so must be working.

No bull, it does what it claims to do.

Thought i would try this to see if it was any good, I have a Freelander 1 2006 that was up for its MOT 1st Feb, last year the MOT station said they had to take it for a run to get the emissions down to get a pass, so this year i used Dipetane just to see. It passed with flying colours and is running very well. I would say this was a very good product.

Recently purchased myself a Jeep with a 2.8 diesel . It is from 2005 . Full history with it too . So “looked after” it has 86000 miles . Under hard acceleration it was giving out a bit of white smoke . Also cold starting wasn’t fantastic . So did some research on what to run through the tank to clean the fuel system and injectors . Went for this product . Put 200ml of product into the tank and topped up with diesel . After around 20 miles . The car started to pick up cleaner from low revs . In all I did approx 50 miles that trip . As the days go by . Cold starts seem to me and my other half to be getting much much better . But one thing is cruise along at 30mph in 4th gear .
