    Seven Seas Omega - 3 - Fish Oil + Cod Liver Oil.

    Cod Liver Oil contains too much Vitamin A, which could be a health hazard. So Seven Seas have reduced the level of Cod Liver Oil, but added Omega 3 Fish Oil, which is good for the Brain, and also added Vitamin D, which is good for the Bones.

    A history of Cod liver oil

    I was first given codliver oil c. 1945. I think it was a government handout post war together with a spoonful a day of "Virol",a malt extract health supplement. I liked the taste of cod liver oil but gave it up at some point in childhood. I have taken it up again in old age, thinking it might assist my ageing joints. But who knows?
