I like TP-LINK powerline products, and will buy them again. I use them for upgrades and when I need additional adapters. Indicator light to show if a good link has been made is a nice touch. Not losing a power socket with this model also is useful.

This has brought my son's PS5 up to speed which the wireless and previous powerline passthrough device didn't, and because it has two gigabit ethernet ports I can watch a film via the set top box on the TV next to it at the same time. We didn't find it quite as easy to set up as the instructions made out, it took three attempts to get the two to connect to each other and the network and in fact we never have got the two paired together properly something always seems to go wrong when we try but despite that the instructions to set up are correct we just had to try again a couple of times so it's not exactly difficult and I would still rate it as easy. The performance is way way better than our previous system, doesn't freeze at all and takes a lot of load off the wireless connections so the devices remaining on wireless seem to be performing better as well: we're really happy with our home network now.Read full review

Unit reconditioned so at cost of a new unit in a pair a bit pricy. Manufacturer does not seem to produce single units new so not the sellers responsibility - a fair price for a market need. It works very well. Is quick a noticeable improvement over old powerline and as good if not better than cat5 lan cable. Good kit. Pricy.

I bought my kit second-hand to add to an existing pair of devices that I have been using for about 18 months. In order to pair the newer arrivals with the existing network, I had to factory-reset them by holding in the Pair button for about ten seconds, then switching them off & on again. Then they paired with the others immediately. They perform very well, especially as they are on a different electrical circuit (fed off a sub-fuse board from the main board) to which the others are connected. Throughput is excellent - the TP-Link utility is measuring around 700Mb/s for most links. And I have never had even the tiniest glitch in the 18 months that I've had my original pair. Having two ports on each unit is useful. The only downside is that although my original pair was a sensible price when I bought them new, they are now very expensive to buy new. That's why I bought a second-hand pair when I needed to expand.Read full review

To change from 500mbps to a quoted 2000mbps was an opportunity I could not let pass me bye. I have used the plugs for 3 days now and I am impressed with their performance. I do not know what Mbps I am getting but I am very pleased with the speed improvement that the plugs have given me. I can recommend the TP-link TL-PA9020P AV200 without hesitation.
