Warranty claims will not be accepted if the failure is caused by misuse, neglect, incorrect installation, competition use or if failure has been caused by a related component. It's coming from a 5 star company. I have been using Castrol products since 1942 when I helped my Dad topping up the oils on his 1933 Hillman Minx during the war. In all the cars that I have had over the years I have used Castrol and have never had a lubrication problem. My latest is a 1938 Riley Big Four Adelphi ( 20/50w ) & (d-140 ) & a 2009 Jaguar x type 2.2d estate ( magnatec)

Suitable Gear oil for Vintage car
Used in my 1930 Singer and my friends 1929 Standard rear axles.Recommended for straight cut gears. It also helps in noisy gearbox instead using a lighter grade.

Ordered the 140(1ltr) and a 50(5ltr). Always like Castrol oil, however packaging was not great, both tins dented but thankfully not creased too badly to leak..
