Excellent Build Quality and Built to Last
I have had many office chairs over the years and all are designed and built to a standard principle. I am a big man of 120 Kg and spend 6 hours everyday working at my desk. I have therefore purchased many office chairs over the years and all seem to fail substantially after 2 years. This chair design and build are very different. It has a substantial tubular chassis that is attached to the rear of the chair; and is then fastened with 8 screws to the base of the chair. This provides excellent structural support for the rear and lower seat. One of the weaknesses of most hydraulic chairs is that the seat is attached only to the hydraulic ram. Normal sideway movement of seating and moving the chair places enormous strain on the top of the hydraulic ram and seat. This strain eventually creates ... Eventually the hydraulic ram fails and the lower seat breaks. In this chair there is an extended support arm from the top of the hydraulic ram along the seat base. Thereby removing the sideway stress which I believe will ensure longer use than 2 years. The cost is much more than I usually pay but the design and build quality are worth it. Excellent build quality and built to last.
