    Hay-Hay, Still good today.

    Humour is all about timing. Something may be quite amusing, but it can fall flat, if not presented properly. Will Hay, and company pioneered presentation to perfection. That is why these discs are a record of excellence in this field.

    Classic British Comedy

    Will Hay was the classic pompous incompetent chap oblivious to his short comings even though his two partners in disaster would often point this out. Here is a marvelous collection for you to sample the work of this great man and see the influence his films have had even to this day. You will see echoes of Captain Mainwaring from Dad's Army, Tony Hancock from Hancock's Half Hour and more recently Brian Potter from Phoenix Nights. Don't let the black and white film put you off instead, enjoy seeing comedic acting at its finest.
