The culture is great but the instructions on the pack are minimal to the point of being useless. You need to boil the milk for a couple of minutes, cool it, add the culture and keep it at around 43 degrees until the yoghurt thickens (not for a fixed amount of time) Mine took much longer than it said on the pack so it would probably have been a disaster if I’d just followed the instructions. If you buy this, Google instructions before you start!

Milk needs to be boiled in order for this to work. You can't just heat it to 42 degrees then put the culture in. Boil the milk for 3 minutes and then let it cool down to 42 degrees then put the culture in.
