    Best field guide for beginners

    I love the drawing style of this guide and how beginner friendly it is. The content organization by colors really helps identify birds. Great to have Sierra Nevada animals, insects, funghi and plants etc all in one book. Recommended.

    Great Guide

    Excellent guide to keep on hand during a trip to the Sierra Nevada. Easy to read with great reference pictures. I have used this book to identify both animals and plants I've encountered on my various hikes. I would highly recommend it to anyone.
