If the part you have purchased is a Tail Tidy/fender eliminator It is important that all bolts are fully tightened and the number plate is fitted up to the license plate light. After fitting the license plate verify the clearance between the rear tyre is sufficient for your style of riding, as contact between the license plate and tyre could have serious consequences. Take rider weight, pillion, luggage and rear spring settings into consideration - make adjustments if necessary.
 
 
When fitting any motorcycle or car parts, routines checks should be made.

    Item was as described. Plug and play bolt-on and wiring. 👍 Had 2 issues. The plate bolt slots are too narrow for a US plate. Dremel cut the holes in the plate wider. No prob. The other was, while the stock tail lights fit in the bracket, mine are longer than others in the comments. (Us bike model?) They interfered a little with the side cases. Case could go on but pushed the light and rubbed the cases. The bracket has enough "give" I could bend it a bit to give clearance. Talking millimeters.
