    Saved me the cost of a new boiler!

    "Describe the pros and cons..." eBay suggests. Well, the pro is that this part is obsolete, and if I couldn't find a used one I'd be unable to repair the boiler which would have to be replaced. This one was in excellent condition, a qualified plumber has now fitted it, and the boiler is back in operation. I've saved about £2500. The only con is that a used part doesn't come with gaskets, but the fitter managed to sort that out. I'm very pleased to have been able to buy this part.
