Saved me the cost of a new boiler!
"Describe the pros and cons..." eBay suggests. Well, the pro is that this part is obsolete, and if I couldn't find a used one I'd be unable to repair the boiler which would have to be replaced. This one was in excellent condition, a qualified plumber has now fitted it, and the boiler is back in operation. I've saved about £2500. The only con is that a used part doesn't come with gaskets, but the fitter managed to sort that out. I'm very pleased to have been able to buy this part."Describe the pros and cons..." eBay suggests.
