      Battery Smoke Alarm

      Easy to fit and use, they have a battery included as a bonus. The base plate is screwed to the ceiling then the smoke alarm twists into place. Simple.

      Perfect match to replace my out of date Lloytron

      I have used a Lloytron smoke alarm for many years. Because the base bracket fitting is screwed into the ceiling, I wanted to get the same model to simply insert into the old bracket. It seems Lloytron no longer market this alarm. I found this Status model to be identical to the Lloytron and so pleased to have found it, saving new fittings and screws in the ceiling.

      Good Safety Product

      Was necessary to replace a smoke detector and the new one fitted the back plate already on ceiling. Very easy to fit and easy to check each month

      Looks good.

      10 year life of battery claimed. Not replaceable. I am a bit sceptical.. It looks nice but is a bit bigger than I anticipated. Certainly easy to instal.
