One had the PTFE wrap on the thread like in the Ebay sales photo, but had been wound into a fitting by the looks of it in my photo. The other fitting, the PTFE was elsewhere than the thread and the fitting looked dirty in places, debatable if new. Will avoid in the future!

Thank you for your feedback, I can assure you that these are all brand new and they all have ptfe tape on the threads, perhaps when they are manufactured they wind them into a thread to compress the PTFE onto the thread as they all look the same. I've just checked our remaining stock and every single one has PTFE tape on the threads.. It would have been much nicer if you'd queried this with us before posting neutral feedback, but thank you anyway. Best wishes, Michael
