Two Duracell AA batteries are provided (the shaver is battery powered only). Braun's foil-cutting technology affords a close shave, and the shaver may be cleaned using running water. Quite simply - poor. Very poor.
I don't usually do reviews but for a "name" brand this was very disappointing. Looks good and feels good in the hand but just doesn't do the job. Tried it on a weeks growth, 3 days growth and then first thing in the morning and it had no discernable effect. Waste of money - I'll have to try some other brand and hope for something much better.

I have been using this type of Braun shaver for many, many years. OK having replaced several with new ones, and find that it gives a close shave, handy to use and great for holiday usage. For the price, it in my opinion, would be very difficult to better, and the price of a new unit is about the same as that for a new shaving head (which apparently are not available for this model) for other electric shavers.I have been using this type of Braun shaver for many, many years. A very good shaver. Small & light, but powerful. Easy to use everywhere thanks to AA batteries. Robustly built. Cheap replacement foil & cutting head. Great value for money. In my opinion the best shaver for a customer on a budget.

It does the job and is good value for money.
Although this is a cheap little razor, it is good quality and works surprisingly well. I bought it mainly to shave my head in this hot weather, and it does the job. It is easy to clean in water and the batteries seem to last well. I am very pleased that I didn't buy a more expensive razor.
