Product Information
The Yashica MG-1 35 mm uses a Yashinon 45 mm f/2.8 lens. This lens is designed with four elements in three groups. An electronic shutter is used by the Yashica 35 mm camera and provides a variable shutter speed. Shutter speeds can range from 1/500 of a second up to 2 seconds for use with different exposures and flash options. Exposure control for this camera body has an EV range from EV2 to 17 and an ASA range from 25 to 800. Controls/indicators for both the shutter speed and exposure range are mounted on the top of the Yashica MG-1 35 mm. The viewfinder for the Yashica 35 mm camera has parallax correction marks, an image magnification of 0.59x and red and yellow exposure-indicator arrows visible through the viewfinder. Focus rings on the camera body allow for manual adjustment of the image focus. These rings are located on the lens housing. The Yashica 35 mm camera also has a shutter ring lock, focusing ring, CdS Sensor, and other features located on the body.
