The item pictured was significantly larger than what was received with longer roots. The listing also offered (4) plants. I selected (2) sets of 4 for a total of 8. I got a total of 6, 1 of which was smashed. I sent a photo at the sellers request I sent one with both the smashed one and one that wasn’t. I also sent a photo of the original listing I purchased from since the current listing appeared quite different. The sellers response was “hurry and plant the smashed one and pay closer attention

It doesn't matter if the rhizomes are big or small. I could see the new small roots of the small rhizomes in the photo you sent. So I advised to plant it in a pot as soon as possible. Not all plants can be sent as shown in the photo. They are not all the same. Because they are plants.
