Non-drying, light fragrance
I have (ahem...) older skin that tends to look desperate after using soaps, or greasy after emollients. This is the perfect skin cleanser for me. Peter Thomas Roth somehow came up with a formula that makes my skin feel just...healthy. Clean and well hydrated, complete with a fragrance that is light, pleasant and nonclashing with anything else I wear. Love this stuff. HIghly recommended!

Okay, but not great :/
I was really excited to try this after reading all the wonderful reviews. I liked the smell and it was nice to wash my face with but felt a little dry after. I was currently using Peter Thomas Roth Beta Hydroxy Acid 2% Acne Wash which I love bc I thinks it's helping with my acne & it doesn't dry out my face at all (which is hard to find for acne washes). I do have some adult acne and my skin is sensitive so maybe that's why the anti-aging didn't work for me. Since I bought it though I 'm going to use it about one day a week so we'll see if I notice anything.I was really excited to try this after reading all the wonderful reviews. I had been using Cetaphil which is supposed to be very gentle on skin but I could not get rid of cystic acne that kept popping up. I used several other products on my skin but it wasn't until I gave this face wash a try that my skin cleared right up! What's funny is that Cetaphil is for sensitive skin but was breaking me out, and this PTR cleansing gel is not for sensitive skin and it cleared me up! Go figure. But I'm happy with it! Facial cleanser & body cleanser is the best! It is a bit pricey but so worth it! I actually like the old cleanser,,I was staying at the Hilton hotel & they had small bottles of it along with the shampoo & conditioner Loved that too1 I usally don't use hotel stuff but when I smelled it,,,said to myself smells good to me! Thats how I got hooked & been buying since!

Gentle yet thorough
I have very sensitive skin and this product does not make my skin break out. I’ve used it for 10 years on my Clarisonic. My skin feels ever so clean after washing. Only downside is it really makes my eyes burn if it accidentally gets in them.
