We travel all over the country in order to try and obtain vintage, antique or unique items. Most of them, therefore, show signs of their former lives. This, of course, is their appeal over modern “souless” pieces. In our listings we describe the items honestly and as i see them, highlighting any damage. This doesn’t include those little “knocks and bumps” as these, I feel, are the pieces vintage character. We are fully aware, though, that one person’s “character” is another’s “damage” !! If you have any concerns please ask and I will happily answer any questions or supply any further photo’s that you may need. Please, please ask any questions you may need before you buy ! Read the description and ebay specifications carefully as they form part of the description too.
 
We are sure that you will be absolutely delighted with your item, but if when you receive it is not as described , despite your questions, then we will accept returns under the following terms:
The item/s must be returned within 14 days and in the same condition that it was despatched.
The item/s must be packaged to a similar standard to that in which you received them.
You must use the same method of carriage/COURIER as you used to despatch the item to you and at YOUR expense.
Of course if we deliver it then you can tell us there and then and we will take it back with us for only the delivery charge.
 
 
Second Hand /Refurbished Goods act . These rights in the UK are defined in the Consumer Rights Act and cover any purchase from a trader made since October 2015.
When considering the laws on buying second hand goods / refurbished furniture and your consumer rights, it s important to remember that second hand products or refurbished goods do not have to be of the same quality as new items. Therefore, you cannot simply reject an item because it is not of the same standard as you would expect if it was brand new.
