Well done 1960's television series
David Janssen was the perfect choice for this character. His quirky responses, reticent smile and constant look of fear held my attention when I original watched the series, and still does today. While he was found guilty of murdering his wife, the viewer is convinced of his innocence from the beginning. Unlike today, when people complain and stop moving forward when the going gets tough; this successful pediatrician, now completely removed from his marriage, home, practice and life shows no bitterness for his bad luck, just a determination to find his wife's killer. Along the way he finds himself in situations where he is "called" to help people...and never says no. Enjoy!Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

The Fugitive
This series, 4 years of the Fugitive, is excellent. The stories are well written and they have a great cast of actors. The cinema photography is great. David Janssen does a great job of acting. The stories are set in various places all over the USA so you can see what our culture and life style was like over 50 years ago. Very historical and nostalgic for me because I was a teenager when this came out and it brings back a lot of good memories. The case that contains the dvd's is great, first class. The fugitive
The product was a little expensive, but the series was good. I don't have any problems with the DVD playing, and I enjoyed sessions one to three, however, session four that it is in color that I don't care for as mush. The show seems to lose its forces. I guess it is very hard to keep up with originality and the same actors keep playing different people. I didn't notice this until I got the DVD's however I sill like the show and David Jansen as always were great. Great acting great group of characters it must have been hard writing different story lines for so long.
Good watching in order. Quinn Martin reused the same cars in episodes saving $$. Most of his female characters except for Vera Miles so far, have passed. And most seem to be B C actresses but they seem to perform the part well even though they were not A actresses in demand. And again the cars are good to see.
