I think I must have been sold a bottle of water. I carried out the instructions on the bottle, i.e. hot water into the toilet bowl then add the product. It was supposed to fizz and when this stopped, to go ahead and clean off the limescale with a brush. Problem was, there was no reaction in the toilet bowl at all, as though I had just added more water. I would not buy this again, absolutely useless.I think I must have been sold a bottle of water. Kilrock big K multi purpose descaler.
This is by far the BEST descaler I have ever used for my kettle, which is a clear glass one, so it shows every bit of limescale. Just a capsule of big K in a couple of inches of water, let it boil, then all the limescale disappears instantly. One bottle of big K lasts and lasts.

It works!
Pour a portion into your brown toilet. Follow up with a full freshly boiled kettle of water. Leave 5-10mins. Scrub with toilet brush a bit. Rejoice that something actually works. However, the process will need to be repeated every time you decide that the toilet looks too sad to even sit on. For I and my girlfriend, that means e.g. every six weeks. But it depends on how hard your water is and on the condition of the toilet's inner surfaces (not to mention, how often you pay it a visit).Pour a portion into your brown toilet.
