Should add, upon powering up with sd card inserted, both LED’s rapidly flashing amber, indicating sd card error, preventing initial formatting of sd. Turns out powering from a laptop usb port doesn’t provide enough power to perform sd card format. If you encounter this problem, power the unit via usb from a 5V/1A rated usb wall mains plug to resolve problem.
