This was a very enjoyable comedy back in the days when the world was a very different place. I still find it quite a funny show and would say that it hasn't been spoilt by time.

This was one of the funniest comedies of the 70s, so it's a great pity that it is never shown on television these days. Modern puritanical political correctness just won't allow it, because of the "racial stereotyping", which is very light-hearted and not in any way vicious or mean. I decided to buy the series on DVD, as this was the only way I was ever going to see it again. The writing is excellent and the characters are just as funny as I remember them. Great classic comedy that deserves to be remembered rather than erased from existence. I'm so glad I bought this. One of my favourite sitcoms. Although it's available on YouTube but the quality is not that good and some episodes have been trimmed. These DVDs came with very good quality and full episodes. The price was a bit stretchy though.

As funny as I remember, and important in time of political correctness. I am half -cast my Dad was Pakistani and he thought it hilarious. Sometimes it’s not the foreigners, who have the problem.
