As I already have a library of minidiscs it is very useful to be able to play them via an audio lead or headphones from this compact minidisc player. i haven't tried recording with it yet due to imcompatable optical connectors but i'm working on that.

So far I am very happy with this product. It enables me to listen to long ago recorded favourites.

I have three MD's and of these the Sony Net one is probably the one I least use. It has some handy aspects like it runs off a normal battery so you can wander a long way from the mains! You can record your LPs on it via the line in (with an extra jack lead not supplied but they are cheap) or from the radio, net etc. So theoretically you could have mobile entertainment at good qulity for a lot less than an iPod etc. But what lets the Net MD down is the software. It's common - just look around the forums - so I gave up on that. Now I have MP3 players like the Muvo which are cheap are easy to use. But I love the MD format.
