I guess im a little biased seeing as I own a 2003 Terminator and Im currently an engineering student, but this book truly is awesome, An uncommon tale of an uncommon man doing something very different in the all too common world of mundane auto building. Shows how a single man backed by an amazing team of engineers did what man consider impossible while facing the risk of losing his career if the car failed to sell. If your a ford fan , cobra owner, svt enthusiast, engineer or if you find the engineering design process interesting this is definitely the book for you. Goes to show how in a third of the time it takes most companies to completely design a car, Fords SVT division completely re-made the cobra into a car that was faster and handled better than any other mustang, porsche, bmw or camaro at the timeRead full review
I bought this book because I have a 2004 Terminator. This book is full of facts. I love that it tells the roots of how this amazing journey started. I would recommend this to any Mustang aficionado and especially to any 03-04 Terminator owner. John Coletti is a genius when it came to muscle cars. He saved Ford from committing a very big mistake, which gave us this tire melting, supercharger whining, road handling and great looking car. Thank you John. Go and get a copy now!
The whole book can be summed up in one sentence. Colette said that 01 was slow, then we worked hard to make 03 fast. That’s it nothing else. Barely one page on Pardo’s work. Minimal photos. We use special racing parts, but yeah why is that part so special? I deeply regretted paying money for this book.
