Van Williams & Bruce Lee Make the Series Great!
It's been 40 Television Seasons since the 1966-67 TV Show first ran! I can still remember when I first heard the 'Flight of the Bumblebee' that was the theme music of the show! The show was inspired by the success of the Batman series. ABC brought The Green Hornet to television in the 1966-67 TV Season, which introduced martial arts master Bruce Lee to American audiences and starred Van Williams as the Green Hornet. Unlike the Batman show, the TV version of The Green Hornet was played straight, but it was cancelled after only one season. However, the meteoric rise of Bruce Lee as a major cult movie star ensured continued interest in the television property. As a matter of fact, Bruce Lee's popularity in Hong Kong, where he was raised, was such that the show was marketed there as 'The ... It was also in 1967 that Gold Key Comics produced a comic book series based on the TV show, which mirrored that program's short life with a brief three-issue print run. I never met Bruce Lee, but saw a program at the LA Sci-Fi & Comic Con where his brother showed home movies of the Lee family. Anytime you can pick up a DVD on this show, you should! Michael

Movie stalls and will not restart.
While watching this movie it started to skip then stopped. Had to unplug DVD player to get the movie to eject. Tried to run the movie again and the same thing happened. Did not want to risk trying it for a third time as the DVD player was not mine. Did not get to see more than half the movie so I am disappointed.

I like this series for the 1960s it's pretty great. Van williams is the green hornet and of courses Kato will always be the legendary martial artist Bruce lee !!! Bruce lee's fight scenes are amazing!! I love this series thank you so much ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ stars
