Product Information

April O'Neil, ace reporter, has been kidnapped by the evil Shredder. Take control of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles -- Leonardo, Raphael, Michaelangelo, and Donatello -- in order to defeat Bebop, Rocksteady, Baxter Stockman, Krang, and Shredder on your way to saving April. Using katana blades, sai swords, nunchakus, and a bo staff battle your way through hordes of Foot Soldiers and other enemies trying to block your path. There are a total of five stages of play. Before each stage you can choose a different turtle to play as. Each "hero in a half shell" has one life which gives you a total of four lives for the complete game. Grab pizza boxes, pizza slices, and full pizzas to gain points and add life to your meter bar.

    Fun Diversion

    It's very simple and pretty easy. You can beat the game in a half hour. But it's a pretty fun half hour. Graphics and sound are good for early GB, and the sprite work is nice.

    Played this game for the first time and ...

    Played this game for the first time and I gotta say it was quite fun to play. It's simple and can beat it in 20-30 minutes, if you're used to the controls even less, but still there is something charming about this game, brings the memories of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles and me playing my Gameboy as a kid.

    For me, this is the best game out of the 3 titles offered on the original GB. THE MUSIC! It’s top notch and the gameplay is great too. If I only had one game for the GB, it would be this one for sure.
