A direct replacement which is easy to fit for someone with basic mechanical and electrical skills. No noticeable reduction of power. Not evidently made by Panasonic, but possibly from the same source in China where they now buy them from.

If your microwave goes through all of the motions of heating your food up but it doesn't actually get it hot it is likely that it is this part (the magnetron) that has failed. It is relatively easy to fit a new one if you are confident at fiddly electrical DIY (don't try to do it if you don't know what you are doing though). This part fitted my Panasonic microwave perfectly and saved me from forking out £200 for a new one. Highly recommended.

It was exactly the same as failed part and fitted perfectly. Removing the fixing screws requires quite a lot of effort. Take some pictures so that you can get all the screws back in the same place. You have to remove several parts to get easy access

Very easy to fit. The thing that took the most time were all the screws holding the microwave casing together. Anyone with very basic experience of taking things apart could fit one of these. It's saved me hundreds of pounds.
