After a £1000 repair on a tooth a few years back I have started taking my dental health MUCH MORE SERIOUSLY (mum was a dentist and I took free treatment for granted prior). I’d never been a fan of floss, it clicks into the gaps in my teeth and cuts straight into my gum..seemingly clearing nothing..no way could I do my back teeth! so when my dentist showed me how to use interdental brushes I could see these actually did a lot more and were easier to use, I was determined to get on it..and after initially bleeding like I’d done ten rounds with Tyson my gums settled and feel so much better now, I think my breath fresher also. What I didn’t like was the huge plastic handle on every teepee brush that went rapidly to the bin..also I couldn’t see any chance of getting to my back teeth..apparently I have a narrow set/width on my teeth/jaw not much room. Well the curaprox aluminium handle solves all this, hardly any plastic with these prime brushes and it’s easy to get right to the back (my dentist didn’t believe I’d done it so it’s clearly commonly given up on..but with the double ended handle..it’s easy(ish!) I did try some cheaper brushes ;) but they don’t fit the holder well and I find the wire holding the bristles is thicker so you can’t get them through, so despite the cost I always think go for the whole system from the same company (especially when they are Swiss/German etc).they last well enough and then you may have to pull the broken brush out of your chops with tweezers!
