    Great value

    Typical of Moen, this shower/tub set is high quality. Since I am not using the tub spout (shower only installation), I will cap the lower center threads. Easy, peasy. Best part of this purchase: Got it for about 1/4 of normal retail. Gotta love it.

    Don't waist your time or money

    Nice looking but I would NOT buy this unit, only metal parts are the pipe valve and the handles. Everything else, the stems part that you screw the handle to, tub diverter, escutcheon rings, stem covers shower head all plastic. Not a solid sturdy design, not made to last, very cheep quality. Since it is such an expensive repair, if I knew, I wouldn't have bought this. The stems and valves are connected, the stems aren't repairable, you have to replace them. I went with this because I knew the Moen name. I should have gone with the Kingston brass, it was all metal but I didn't know, it was my first faucet repair.

    Just don't make them like they used to!

    I had to replace and existing installation so I was stuck with two handle controls. Unfortunately, availability of two handle control units is very limited. I went with Moen because I have had very good luck with their products in the past and they do stand behind their product. As is true with most products on the market today, the quality has been compromised to reduce costs. The unit that I replaced, was at least 50 years old and what a difference between it and the new one. I know that I am living in the past, but, like they say, " they just don't make them like they used to". I hope that I have as good of service with this one as the one that I replaced but, all that plastic where brass used to be makes me wonder!
